Wellspring Dance Day - March 8, 2009

Join the professional dancers of Wellspring for the annual Dance Day open house.  The FREE event will be held on Sunday, March 8 from 2-3 pm in the Wellspring Theater at the Epic Center.  Dance Day will offer participants ages 3 through adult the opportunity to experience the creative art of modern dance.

The one-hour event will begin with a performance by the Wellspring dance company.  Then, the audience will be invited to join the dancers on stage to try a mini-class, which is a shortened version of a typical Wellspring modern dance class.  After the mini-classes, participants will learn a group dance led by Artistic Associate Michael Miller and share the dance through an informal performance.  Finally, guests will be invited to enjoy refreshments with the dancers, ask questions about classes and apply for scholarships for the Spring Semester of classes. The Spring Semester begins March 9.
